Flashback: February 2011

I love his genuine excitement about things.
Girls' spa party with Ruby's friend from school and her mom.
Tyson couldn't be left out.  He wanted to try the avocado mask.
It really does work well.
They are SO cute sleeping in Tyson's train tent!
Ruby gave me this valentine and I couldn't resist posting it.  My favorite part is the last line that says "Although, the other one was probably awesome, too."  She's referring to her birth mother.  I thought that was so sweet.  She's such a thoughtful, compassionate girl.
We went to the Big Island in February.  It was beautiful, we had so much fun.  They were so excited about riding on an airplane they could hardly contain themselves.
We got to see the sunrise while waiting for the shuttle bus in Kona.
Ruby is so photogenic.
This is the beautiful farm we visited in North Kohala.

This area will be converted to gardens.  A large gulch with perfect dirt... I mean soil.  Sorry Geoff. ;)
Of course Tyson loved the wheeled vehicle.
This horse looks nicer than he was.
The kids getting some energy out in the hotel courtyard.  I love the lips.  Those are her concentrating lips.  She told me someday she wants to win a gold medal for running.  She certainly has the genes for it.  If you ever see a picture of her in the news for winning a gold medal look for the concentrating lips. :)
Silly, as usual. He is part monkey.  When I ask him where he comes from he says "The zoo."
Downtown Hawi. Yep, that's it.
The sky was amazing in this sleepy town!
They were also very excited about having a giant bed to share (It's the same size as theirs but perception is everything).
We were hoping no dinosaurs were hiding in the grass.
What a view!
This way awesome playground reminds us of the one in Utah.  The kids had so much fun playing on it - - -
- - - ALL the kids! :)
Under a waterfall at the pool at a fancy hotel.  Tyson was really nervous because it was so loud.
Cute!
