By making our own decorations and limiting our gift purchases we have had a fantastic Christmas this year. Ruby had decided earlier in the year that she wanted to make her own Christmas tree and with a little inspiration from Aunty Janette and a little elbow grease from mom and dad the tree turned out pretty good! It’s a good thing too because for some reason Christmas trees in Hawaii this year were scarce, and EXPENSIVE! We spent an afternoon making gingerbread with Ruby’s friend Erihana and they had a blast decorating with very unique styles and colors! Tyson even joined in the fun… Instead of buying gifts for each other this year we donated the money we would have spent to Ruby’s baby home – The Cradle of Love. We don’t have exact figures but the amount raised from Ruby’s Christmas Wish may have reached above $500! Pretty amazing!
On Christmas Eve Tyson had had enough and was falling asleep at the table during lunch. It was so cute and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a video.
Merry Christmas everyone! We hope your Holiday is filled with the true joy that only Christ can bring!
Our high chair is way more comfortable than your travel one. Elora tries to sleep in it about once a week. Jonah never did.
