The New Year Is Upon Us!

!!! ~ Happy New Year ~ !!!

Since Ruby has new roller skates Tyson gets to use her scooter.
We went to Lapperts ice cream in a torrential downpour!  Totally fun! You can't tell from the picture because it's too dark but trust me... cats and dogs!
Tyson ate some of everybody's.
Ruby's eyes were too big for her stomach.
Bibi Judy helped Ruby make a bag for all her ballet stuff.
She was very proud of her creation!
She also made mom a water-bottle bag for her birthday and one for herself too!
Tyson has been asking for a "Lightning" car for a long time.  Now he has "Big Lightning" and "Little Lightning"!
We went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for Andrea's 31st birthday.   Mmmmm.....  Mizithra cheese!
At Ala Moana Beach Park on New Years Day.  The kids were learning to surf, or so they think.
It's always more fun when dad comes with!

This turned out so good I couldn't leave it out.  Bibi Judy took this awesome picture of her!
!!! ~ Happy New Year ~ !!!

All I Want For Christmas...

Tysons Birthday came and went, as well as Christmas and New Years...  But that doesn't mean we didn't collect some great memories and photos to share!

The Church Christmas Party
Tyson asked for a "Train" for his birthday cake.  We celebrated a few days early which he didn't seem to mind. Luckily we had a cake mold that came in very handy this year.  Thanks Aunt Gail!
Tyson enjoying his Birthday cake.
On his birthday Tyson was trying to enjoy his birthday cake but his sleepy head wouldn't cooperate!
We really wore them out one night.
These kids are so adorable!
Bibi Judy and Babu came to visit for Christmas and the first thing they did together was make Gingerbread Cookies.
I think Tyson took out some of his aggression on this project. :)
A little taste of frosting brings on the Holiday spirit like nothing else!
Ruby is very proud of her decorating skills.
Ruby thinks the pink frosting tastes best.
Christmas morning!
Tyson asked Santa for "Lightning McQueen" and the Big Man in Red delivered!
Ruby also got what she asked for... Roller Skates!
Ruby also was LOADED with "Silly Bands", and got a very exclusive book all about Pixie Hollow.
Tyson scored a Thomas the Train railroad track!
Tyson was so excited about this musical instrument set he wouldn't stop sticking his tongue out.
Tyson was caught Red-Handed trying on Ruby's skates!
Ruby was so excited about her new skates she had to try them out Christmas morning.
It was a little tough at first but she's getting the hang of it.
Ruby also got a new pair of fairy wings and a shimmery skirt.
We had a fun and exciting Christmas and hope you all did too!

Life is Good...

We have had things in order for a while and just finally got around to taking pictures.  It's not perfect but at least its in some kind of order.  Here are the before and after shots of the apartment.

(The Kitchen)

As usual we have some very cute kids, and when they want to be they can REALLY be cute.  Tyson was playing with his cars one day and I asked him why all the cars were surrounding the blue car in the middle.  He told me that the blue car was "sick" (the batteries are dead) and the other cars were giving it a blessing!

Ruby's friend Zaya had a birthday recently and as a present to her and a reward for all of Ruby's hard work at school we took them to the movie "Tangled".  They had a great time and the cutest part was hearing the two of them giggle and laugh out loud.  There was a horse in it I liked...

Tyson keeps asking me if he can listen to my iPod, but the earbuds don't fit in his ears.  I found these headphones in one of the boxes we unpacked and he was in heaven.  He especially likes Hip Hop music and can't get enough of Erasure.  Ruby was just about to head to her Nutcracker rehearsal.

We unpacked our Christmas boxes the other day and although we didn't put everything up the kids and I had a great time getting things out.  Why is Tyson always naked?

And the Christmas movies came out too and they started the season with The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

We're looking forward to a busy December.  Ruby is playing the part of an Angel in the Nutcracker Ballet, and she is also in the children's choir for the annual Christmas Concert at the Honolulu Tabernacle.  To say the least our weekends are anything but relaxing.  Maybe we'll get to go to the beach again in January...
